COVID BOOSTER VACCINES


Covid Booster Vaccine Appointments:
Programme dates & timing: (3rd May 22)

The surgery will be part of the booster vaccine programme. We do not as yet know which vaccine we will be getting or when. We will update further as soon as we have information from government or HSE.

Appointments:

The practice nurse will be administering the Booster vaccines during normal surgery hours. Please contact the surgery to make an appointment, or complete the online from below and we will contact you.

Booking Criteria - please read carefully:
​
In order to receive a booster you must fulfill the following criteria:

You must
​
-
HAVE already had two Covid Vaccines with the 2nd dose at least 3 months ago
-
NOT have been diagnosed with Covid in the last 3 months
-
BE over 16 yrs old
-
BE well - not displaying any Covid Symptoms or awaiting a covid test.
​
If you are FULLY vaccinated AND have had covid since vaccination then you DO NOT require a Booster Vaccine for THREE months after infection.
​
If you are PARTIALLY vaccinated AND have subsequently had covid you may receive a Booster Vaccine ONE month after infection.
​
Please do NOT ring the surgery for Covid Vaccine related questions - we need to leave our phones available to assist patients with medical issues.
