COVID BOOSTER VACCINES 

Covid Booster Vaccine Appointments:
Programme dates & timing:

As of December 14th the Government have asked GP surgeries to assist with the Covid Booster programme.  

​

Our next Covid Vaccine clinic is Friday 14th Jan.

​

All are afternoon appointments.  

​

Appointments will be assigned. Unfortunately they are not changeable.

 

If you feel attendance at an assigned slot is not suitable for you then please DO NOT BOOK with us. Instead please attend either a walk-in clinic at a mass vacinnation centre or book your booster through an alternative pathway.  

​

This is to enable the practice to continue to provide daily medical care to those in need while also running tha booster vaccine programme. Many thanks for your consideration in this matter.

Booking Criteria - please read carefully:

​

In order to receive a booster you must fulfill the following criteria: 

​

You must 

​

  • HAVE already had two Covid Vaccines with the 2nd dose at least 3 months ago

  • NOT have been diagnosed with Covid in the last 3 months

  • BE over 16 yrs old

  • BE well - not displaying any Covid Symptoms or awaiting a covid test. 

​

If you are FULLY vaccinated AND have had covid since vaccination then you DO NOT require a Booster Vaccine for THREE months after infection. 

​

If you are PARTIALLY vaccinated AND have subsequently had covid you may receive a Booster Vaccine ONE month after infection.

​

Please do NOT ring the surgery for Covid Vaccine related questions - we need to leave our phones available to assist patients with medical issues.
